CST300: Major ProSeminar, Week 0

The CS Online program has officially begun, and I’m excited to say I’m officially part of Cohort 23 🦦. It feels great to finally be here. I’ll admit, I was a little anxious at first. I wasn’t sure my financial aid would be processed in time; and, for a moment, it felt like things might not come together. But fortunately, everything worked out, and here we are.

This first week was all about getting oriented. We kicked things off with the usual week one activities and wrapped it up by mapping out our schedules (pictured below).

I realized after the fact that I forgot to include free time, but I’m hoping future me figures that part out.

In addition to starting the CS program, I’m also five weeks into an eight-week Spanish class, and I'm not exactly loving it. I can order a taco, introduce my cat, and talk about my family, but I don't know enough yet to complain about the class in Spanish. I guess I should add that to my to-do list…

I'm really looking forward to the next two years. I hope to get to know many of you and virtually learn alongside you, whether it’s through discussion boards, group projects, or through the occasional “is anyone else confused by this assignment?” moment.

Here’s to a great start, Cohort 23. 💻
